Austria Tabak / Japan Tobacco International

Branding for Austria Tabak / Japan Tobacco International headquarter in Vienna. The visual concept and typographical solution are based on the company’s historical and statistical data that communicate the core values of the company and its brands throughout the entire building. Based on the graphic concept, we have – in cooperation with Marianne Durig Architektur and Architekt Prenner – also been responsible for the interior makeover which included new flooring, furnishings and plantation. We are pleased with the employee’s extremely positive feedback about their face-lifted headquarter.

Meeting rooms are named after the company’s various brands. As part of our concept, key information of each brand is typographically applied, ensuring continuous visibility of these values to both visitors and staff, and thus raising awareness and brand identification.

Mezzanine floors boast convex acrylic glass panels showcasing the company’s historical milestones, starting out in the year 1784 on the lowest floor. The higher you get, the more recent is the information you will find displayed.
